1. Acceptance and definitions
TODODefine the platform, user, student, parent and tutor, and state that using the platform means accepting these terms. Name the operating entity if you wish.
2. Account and sign-up
TODOAccount requirements, minimum age, accurate information, and keeping login details safe.
3. Lessons, booking and cancellation
You can cancel a lesson at least 12 hours before it starts and the lesson goes back to your balance.
TODOReview the text above, and define what happens on late cancellation or no-show (by the student or the tutor), and how long to wait at the start of a lesson.
4. Packages and payment
TODOPayment methods, currency, validity of each package (e.g. 14 or 30 days), and what happens to lessons after expiry. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
5. Kids' accounts
TODOThe parent's role and consent, the data required for a child, and a parent being present for young kids' lessons.
6. Conduct and acceptable use
TODORules for dealing with tutors, no contact or payment outside the platform, lesson recording (if any), and suspending accounts that break the rules.
7. Intellectual property
TODOOwnership of the method, materials and brand, and how students may use them.
8. Limitation of liability
TODONo guarantee of a specific result (e.g. an IELTS score), technical outages, and limits of liability.
9. Changes and governing law
TODOHow users are notified of changes, the governing law and where disputes are resolved.
